Sorry its been awhile since I posted, to say we’ve been busy would not quite paint the picture. In the last 6 months we’ve done the following:
-Noah boy ended chemotherapy after 3 years and 3 months of continuous chemo. He was 4 at diagnosis and is now 8. He is in solid remission and is making the change from cancer patient to cancer survivor. He has been through and seen more than most of us will in a full lifetime. Today he is good and we take it day by day. If you want to follow Noah’s journey feel free to check out his caringbridge blog
-We created a JV for our commercial Aquaponics operations taking on a partner to help us expand from our family sized commercial farm to a full blown large scale operation on two separate farm sites. Our new JV is called Hā Farms Inc
-Started a new farm location which is currently under construction
-Updated our training programs to better serve our students. We now offer a 2 day and 4 day training option. Both are personal trainings and intensive. Both offer students what’s needed to get started in Aquaponics farming as a business. The difference between the two options is more hands on experience with the 4 day….
So, as stated we’ve been busy, with Noah’s treatment ending being the HIGHLIGHT of the last several months. We thank the Lord for Noah’s life and we also thank his doctors, nurses, playroom auntie’s and everyone else who has helped to save his life!!
I plan to use this blog to detail the expansion of our commercial operations as well as updates on training programs and our new Farm Stay accommodations that will be available in early 2016…
Plan for tomorrow but live for today,
